Three discussion sessions will take place at the event. The first session will focus on Malay short stories translated into Tamil. Writer Aravin Kumar will moderate the session, featuring writers Azrin Fauzi, Viswanathan and Salma as panellists. This discussion will be conducted in Malay.

The second discussion session will focus on a collection of 10 contemporary Tamil short stories translated into Malay. Writer K. Ilampuranan will moderate the session and will feature writers Fazleena Hishamuddin, Johan Radzi and Farahin W as panel members.  This session will explore contemporary Tamil short stories from the perspectives of writers with diverse literary backgrounds.

The third session will feature a panel with writers A. Pandiyan, Saravanan Sathiyananthan, and Saalini, who were involved in the book’s translation. Prithviraj will moderate this session. The three writers will share their experiences and discuss the techniques they implemented in the translation process. Writer Asir Lavanyaah will host the event. This event will be conducted in both Malay and English. This event is significant in Malaysian literary history, bringing together contemporary writers working across three languages. At the same time, these book launches will create opportunities for dialogue among the three literary traditions. As the final part of the event, Mahi Ramakrishnan, President of PEN Malaysia and the author of Kali in Conversation, will deliver the closing remarks.

In conclusion, Triangle of Tales 2 is more than a literary festival. It creates a space where languages, cultures and ideas converge. By featuring stories and poems in Malay, Tamil, and English, the festival demonstrates that literature can transcend linguistic boundaries and bring us together as Malaysians through shared human experiences. May the gathering of writers and readers today continue to nurture dialogue, enrich Malaysia’s literary heritage and build more bridges between the three literary traditions.
