Tengku Zafrul Aziz appointed as Senior Political Secretary to the Prime Minister

Putrajaya : The Office of the Prime Minister announced that YM Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz has been appointed as the Senior Political Secretary to the Prime Minister for a period of two (2) years, effective 4 March 2026 (Wednesday).

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim expressed his hope that YM Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul will carry out this entrusted responsibility with dedication and humility, for the prosperity of the nation and the well-being of the people.

Tengku Zafrul replaces Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar who resigned as the Senior Political Secretary to the PM on the 25th of November 2025.
