Vigneswaran urges SPM students to avail MIC’s MIED, AIMST & TAFE College opportunities

KUALA LUMPUR : Following the nationwide release of the SPM examination results on Tuesday (March 31), MIC President Tan Sri S. A.Vigneswaran has extended his heartfelt congratulations and appraisals to Indian students who successfully navigated the exams.

In a press statement, Tan Sri Vigneswaran emphasised that while high achievers deserve celebration, those who received lower marks or did not pass should not lose heart.

“Every individual has an opportunity to progress. MIC is always ready to guide you toward the right path,” he assured.

Highlighting that higher education is a critical foundation for any student’s life, the MIC President stressed the importance of strategic planning and dedicated effort. He encouraged Indian students to continue their educational revolution by pursuing tertiary studies at local universities.

Vigneswaran reaffirmed that MIC remains a steadfast ally in the educational development of the Indian community. He noted that through MIED (Maju Institute of Educational Development), the party continues to provide Scholarships for high-performing students and educational loans for those heading to universities.

MIC will extend opportunities for B40 students

Vigneswaran promised that special emphasis would be placed on Indian students from the B40 category and that they could secure a future through educational institutions run by MIC, such as AIMST University, TAFE College, and AIMST College Petaling Jaya (set to open soon).

“Students must realise that education is the primary vehicle for upward mobility in this country,” Vigneswaran stated. He urged students to prioritise their studies during their academic years, noting that academic excellence is the key to carving out a successful future.

Concluding his message, he urged the community to take full advantage of the resources provided by MIC’s MIED, AIMST, and TAFE College. He offered his best wishes to all students, encouraging them to be persistent and persevere in their journey toward success.
