Ramanan congratulates 4 Indian students for securing victory on the international stage
KUALA LUMPUR – Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri R.Ramanan took time off from his busy schedule to meet and congratulate 4 Indian students for their success on an international stage at the Primary School Engineering category competitions recently held in Bangkok, Thailand.
“My meeting with the four winners of the Bangkok Innovation Awards, who secured two gold medals and second place in the Primary School Engineering Category, was truly a proud and touching experience. They are Ilaneyan Yuvarajan and Theerchanna a/p Muniandy from SJKT Ko Sarangapany, as well as Ilanarun Yuvarajan and Elamaaran a/l Muniandy from SMK Sultan Badlishah,” Ramanan said.
“This is clear proof that Malaysian youth are not only capable of competing internationally but can excel in innovation with creative, high-impact ideas. Their success in Bangkok symbolises the younger generation’s ability to elevate the nation’s name and dignity, particularly in STEM fields. Most movingly, I was informed that their parents had taken leave to travel to Bangkok to provide in-person support. Such family sacrifice and encouragement are the backbone of these children’s success, a reminder that achievement is not a solo effort but the result of solid collective support,” Ramanan added on his Facebook posting.
Ramanan also congratulated the parents and teachers who served as faithful mentors throughout their journey. Ramanan was also touched when they asked for his signature. “Though unexpected, I accepted it as a great honour. I took the opportunity to write words of encouragement alongside my signature, hoping it serves as a reminder that their journey is long and their future is bright,” Ramanan noted.
“May this success catalyse more Malaysian youth to dare to innovate and achieve global success. Malaysia needs more young talents like them to continue progressing as a competitive nation,” Ramanan further added.
