Negeri polls: BN 18 – PN 7 – PH 11; No Indian EXCO member!

Seremban: Barisan has won 18 of the 25 seats it contested, while Perikatan Nasional secured victory in 7 of the 11 seats it contested. Pakatan Harapan won only 11 seats.

MIC, contesting under the BN banner in Seremban Jaya and Sri Tanjong, lost both seats.

MIPP, contesting under PN, also lost in Bukit Kepayang. As a result the state EXCO will not have an Indian representation when the state government is formed. Only two Indian candidates managed to win in the Negeri Sembilan state assembly elections, namely Dr Rajasekaran in Sri Tanjong and Mugunthan in Seremban Jaya.
